Merchant Biography
We are the Langstons and our bookstore adventure began in the summer of 2016. At the time, we loved shopping with our daughters at The Village Book Exchange and learned that the owner was no longer able to live in town nor continue with the daily operations of the business. The uncertainty of the bookstore’s future prodded Scott, our daughters and me to step in to keep our favorite bookstore in town. We renamed it Beach Town Books and began the perpetual process of refinement, growth, creativity, friendship, sacrifice, satisfaction and LOVE! Our favorite part of the experience has been feeling the love of the community and working with our team that has been so committed, hard-working and heart-centered. These experiences are what keeps us going and keeps our customers coming back.
