Crushed granite, smoke and bramble introduce penetrating black-cherry and plum flavors in this piercing Syrah. It’s a powerful, firmly structured wine edged by strikes of zesty acidity and persistent but chalky tannins. Aromatic intensity and complexity should improve with time. Hold till 2022 at least.
